Ukrainian drones disable three Russian Giatsint-B Guns

War in Ukraine

Drone operators from Ukraine's Phoenix strike UAV unit have hit three Russian long-range Giatsint-B artillery guns in the Kharkiv region.

The press service of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces shared a video of the strikes on Telegram, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

"The border UAV unit Phoenix in the Kharkiv region has targeted three Russian long-range Giatsint-B artillery guns. The drone operators from Phoenix disabled the guns by burning holes in their barrels. After such damage, the gun is unable to fire and requires a barrel replacement, a component that is in short supply. This has significantly reduced Russia's artillery capabilities in the Kharkiv region," the statement reads.
