Drone attack on Sumy: 9 killed and 13 injured

In Sumy, emergency rescue operations have been completed at the site of a Russian Shahed drone's strike on an apartment building. Nine people were killed and 13 more injured.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko announced this on Telegram, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

“The death toll has risen to nine people. For 19 hours, rescuers have been dismantling the rubble, pulling out bodies from under the ruins. 13 people were injured, including an 8-year-old girl,” he said.

Two apartment buildings and more than 20 vehicles were damaged.

The police received 129 statements from local residents about the consequences of the Russian shelling. The process of documenting Russia's war crime - a direct attack on civilians - is underway.
