Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has welcomed Ukraine’s acceptance of a ceasefire in its conflict with Russia, expressing hope that Moscow will respond constructively.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Wednesday that Kyiv is open to a 30-day ceasefire if Russia adheres to it, rejecting claims that Ukraine does not seek to end the war.
During a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Moldovan President Maia Sandu emphasized that only collective efforts can ensure a just and lasting peace in Europe. "I fully agree with President Macron: the innocence of the last 30 years has ended," she stated.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reaffirmed on Monday that a just and lasting peace is achievable with US leadership and coordinated efforts across Europe.
President Rumen Radev emphasized the need for Bulgaria to prioritize the modernization of its army and strengthen its defense industry, stating that these should be ongoing commitments of every government rather than awaiting directives from Brussels.
Debt settlements through the out-of-court mechanism more than doubled in the past year, reaching €10.45 billion with 31,953 successful cases, according to the economy and finance ministry.
