Erdogan: Prisoner Exchange Between Israel and Hamas Continues Despite Provocations

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Monday that the prisoner exchange between Israel and Hamas is ongoing despite provocations from Israel, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Speaking after a Cabinet meeting, Erdogan said he recently met with a Hamas delegation and reaffirmed Türkiye's commitment to securing a permanent ceasefire.

Highlighting the stark contrast in the condition of prisoners released by both sides, he criticized Israel’s treatment of detainees.

Erdogan also called for increased support for Palestinians in Gaza, urging solidarity ahead of Ramadan.
