Turkey Opposes US Proposal to Expel Palestinians from Gaza

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated on Sunday that Ankara is "completely opposed" to US President Donald Trump's proposal to remove Palestinians from Gaza and relocate them to other countries, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Speaking at a joint press conference in Doha with Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Fidan condemned the plan as a violation of humanitarian law and urged global opposition. He also reaffirmed Turkey's support for the recent Cairo declaration on Palestinians in Gaza.

Fidan's visit to Qatar is set to last two days.
