Wizz Air Launches Six New Routes from Moldova

Wizz Air announced today the launch of six new direct flights from Chișinău to major European cities, starting this fall. The new routes will connect Moldova to Bari (Italy), Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (Germany), Athens (Greece), Maastricht (Netherlands), Billund (Denmark), and Milan-Bergamo (Italy), CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

In addition, Wizz Air will expand its operations in Moldova with a new Airbus A320 aircraft, increasing its presence in the region. Four of the new routes will operate three times a week, with Milan-Bergamo and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden flights available four times a week.

Andras Rado, Wizz Air’s Head of Communications and Government Affairs, emphasized the company’s commitment to continued investment in Moldova, providing more travel options for passengers.

The new routes will enhance Moldova’s connectivity with key European hubs, benefiting tourism and business in the region, as noted by Sergiu Spoială, Director of Chișinău International Airport.
