As every year, the ranking of the most powerful passports for 2024 has been published, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The United Arab Emirates claimed the top spot for the fourth consecutive year, while Kosovo ranked 55th.

The global index measures the number of countries citizens can travel to without a visa. UAE citizens have impressive access to 133 visa-free countries and 47 additional countries with visas on arrival, covering more than 90% of the world. Spain surpassed Germany to become the second most powerful passport, while Finland climbed to third place, sharing the spot with France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Portugal, Norway, Switzerland, Greece, and Ireland, according to Passportindex.org.

Fourth place is shared by Sweden, Poland, and Hungary; fifth by the Czech Republic, South Korea, Estonia, Croatia, and Slovakia. Sixth place includes Japan, Slovenia, Latvia, New Zealand, and Liechtenstein. Singapore, Malta, the United Kingdom, Canada, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, and Australia share seventh place.
