Italy gears up for major space project
Over 100 satellites are envisaged for a new Italian constellation for telecommunications aimed at security and defense.
This is according to a feasibility plan delivered by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) to the Business and Made in Italy Ministry, CE Report quotes ANSA.
As for the implementation time frame, at least five years are expected.
However, a more precise definition can only be made once the consultations with the companies involved have been concluded, sources said.
