The Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye is celebrating its 60th edition this year, marking a significant milestone in the race’s history. Event coordinator Vladimiros Petsas highlighted the importance of this achievement, noting that few races have reached this level of longevity. The 2025 race promises an exciting competition with top riders from WorldTour, ProTour, and Continental teams. Past editions have featured cycling stars like Mark Cavendish and Jasper Philipsen.

Originally launched as the Marmara Tour in 1963, the event gained international recognition in 1965 and has since become a prestigious race under the Turkish Presidency. This year, 161 cyclists from 23 teams across 13 countries will race over 1,153 kilometers, passing through stunning Turkish destinations like Antalya, Kemer, Fethiye, and Izmir.

The event kicks off on April 27 and will be broadcast live on Eurosport and TRT Spor, bringing Türkiye's scenic beauty and cycling culture to a global audience.
