President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that Türkiye is fully capable of hosting major international sports events, including the Olympics. Speaking at the opening of UEFA’s new office in Istanbul, Erdogan highlighted Türkiye's extensive experience, citing past UEFA events hosted in Istanbul.
