Thomas Muller announced on Saturday that he will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the current season, ending a remarkable 25-year career with the club, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

In an emotional post on Instagram, Muller explained, "Even after all these years, I still enjoy being on the pitch and fighting for titles. I could have easily imagined myself in this role next year as well." He revealed that the club has chosen not to offer him a new contract for next season, a decision he respects despite it not aligning with his personal wishes.

Muller joined Bayern’s youth academy in 2000 and went on to win 32 trophies, including two UEFA Champions League titles and 12 Bundesliga championships. He also played a key role in Germany's 2014 World Cup win and was the tournament’s top scorer in 2010.
