Italian skiing star rushed to hospital after nasty fall
Italian Alpine skiing great Federica Brignone was taken to hospital in Trento by helicopter after a nasty fall on the slopes of Val di Fassa while taking part in the giant slalom in the Italian Assoluti championships.
This season the 34-year has won overall, downhill and giant slalom World Cup titles after a stunning campaign, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Brignone is the most successful Italian woman skier and her 37 World Cup wins put her behind only the great Alberto Tomba, on 50, for both sexes.
