Anadolu Efes Parts Ways with Stanley Johnson

Anadolu Efes has mutually terminated its contract with Stanley Johnson, who returned to the U.S. for family reasons, the club announced Tuesday, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

"We sincerely thank Stanley Johnson for his contributions and wish him success in the next chapter of his career," the statement read.

Meanwhile, the South Bay Lakers confirmed acquiring Johnson via trade with Rip City Remix in exchange for player rights and a 2026 second-round draft pick.

Johnson, drafted eighth overall in 2015 by the Detroit Pistons, has played for several NBA teams, including the Lakers, Spurs, and Raptors. He averaged 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 17 EuroLeague games this season.
