Albania, Serbia to host European U-21 Championship

Sports

The largest European football body, UEFA, has now officially confirmed that the European Football Championship for the U-21 age groups will be held in Albania and Serbia, two countries that last year submitted a joint candidacy for the organization of this major sporting event, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

"The 2027 European U-21 Championship will be held in Albania and Serbia," reads the official UEFA announcement.

Both host countries will be part of the final phase, that is, the 1/16, and the matches will be held in four stadiums in each country.

This cooperation between Albania and Serbia was harshly criticized by football experts, coaches and fans in Kosovo.
