UEFA Europa League Playoff Draw: Fenerbahce and Galatasaray Learn Their Opponents

The UEFA Europa League knockout phase playoff draw took place on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Turkish side Fenerbahce, finishing 24th in the standings, will face Anderlecht in the playoff round, while fellow Istanbul club Galatasaray (14th place) will take on AZ Alkmaar.

If Galatasaray advances, they could meet Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur in the last 16. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce will face either Olympiakos or Rangers if they overcome Anderlecht.

The top eight teams automatically progress to the last 16, while those ranked 9th to 24th will compete in two-legged playoffs. The first-leg matches are set for Feb. 13, with the return legs on Feb. 20.
