The overall leaders in snowboarding world cup Maurizio Bormolini of Italy and Tsubaki Miki of Japan won the men's and women's parallel giant slalom events in Rogla, CE Report quotes STA.

In men's competition, second place went to German Elias Huber, while Italian Aaron March was third.

The only Slovenian to make it into the elimination round was Tim Mastnak, who placed fifth after achieving the best time of the qualification round.

In the women's competition, second place went to Sabine Payer of Austria and the third to Italian Elise Caffont. Slovenia's Gloria Kotnik finished 19th.
