World number one and defending champion Jannik Sinner crushed home favourite Alex De Minaur 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne to cruise into the semi-finals of the Australian Open, CE Report quotes ANSA.

In the last four the 23-year-old Italian will face American Ben Shelton, the 21st seed, who beat Sinner's compatriot Lorenzo Sonego 6-4, 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 earlier.
