Lazio in shock over online posts by eagle handler

Lazio said that they have sacked the eagle falconer who handles the club's mascot, Olimpia, after he posted photos and videos of his penis online following a penile-prosthesis operation, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The falconer, 56-year-old Spaniard Juan Bernabe, said he had the operation to revive his sexual health.

The Rome club said they were shocked by the content Bernabe posted and had dismissed him with immediately effect.

Lazio said Olimpia will not be able to fly around the Stadio Oliumpico before the start of their coming home matches because of the dismissal.

Bernabe was suspended by Lazio in 2021 for performing a fascist salute after a match.
