NBA Postpones Lakers vs. Hornets Game Due to Los Angeles Wildfires

The NBA announced on Thursday that the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Charlotte Hornets game at Crypto.com Arena has been postponed due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

"The entire NBA family sends its thoughts and support to the Los Angeles community during this challenging time," the league stated.

In a tragic turn of events, Lakers head coach J.J. Redick lost his home to the fires, NBA insider Shams Charania reported on social media.

The wildfires, driven by severe windstorms and dry conditions, have claimed at least five lives and destroyed over 1,000 structures, including homes and businesses, across northern and northwestern Los Angeles since Wednesday.
