Barcelona Secures Spanish Super Cup Final Spot with 2-0 Victory Over Athletic Bilbao

Barcelona triumphed 2-0 against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday, advancing to the Spanish Super Cup final, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

The opening goal came in the 17th minute when 20-year-old midfielder Gavi skillfully converted a low pass near the six-yard box.

In the second half, Gavi assisted 17-year-old forward Lamine Yamal, who calmly scored in a one-on-one against goalkeeper Unai Simon, sealing Barcelona’s victory at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Barcelona, aiming for a record 15th Spanish Super Cup title, will face the winner of Thursday’s Real Madrid vs. Mallorca semifinal in Sunday’s final.
