Brazilian Midfielder Oscar Returns to São Paulo on Three-Year Deal
Brazilian midfielder Oscar has returned to São Paulo FC after 14 years, signing a three-year contract with the club where his career began, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
“I’m happy to be back in Brazil and to play for São Paulo, the club where I started and built my foundation. This is a special moment for me and my family,” said the 33-year-old in a statement.
Oscar, who expressed gratitude for the support he received from fans, vowed to give his all for the team.
After leaving São Paulo earlier in his career, Oscar went on to play for Internacional, Chelsea, and Shanghai Port. His career highlights include winning the 2013 UEFA Europa League, two Premier League titles (2015, 2017), and the 2015 League Cup with Chelsea.
The midfielder also represented Brazil, scoring 12 goals in 48 appearances for the national team.
