Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record for the most minutes played in regular-season history, the NBA confirmed Friday. The 39-year-old already holds multiple NBA records, including career field-goal attempts and turnovers, while ranking fourth in assists, eighth in steals, and 29th in rebounds. Abdul-Jabbar, a six-time NBA MVP, retired in 1989 with 57,446 minutes played.
