Romania's teams qualified for the first time, Thursday, for the semifinals of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup junior tennis competitions, which takes place in Antalya, CE Report quotes Agerpres

In the Davis Cup, Romania defeated France in the quarterfinals.

Alejandro Mateo Berge Nourescu defeated Daniel Jade in the first match, 6-3, 6-1, and then Yannick Theodor Alexandrescu defeated Moise Kouame, 7-6 (7/5), 6-2.
