National para-judo team took part in the penultimate IBSA Grand Prix ahead of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The Republic of Moldova was represented by three athletes - Ina Cernei (57 kg), Ion Basoc (90+ kg) and Oleg Crețul (90kg), who managed to win the gold medal, CE Report quotes Moldpres

"On his way to the gold medal, the leader of our team defeated athletes from Iraq and Turkey. Ina Cernei and Ion Basoc both placed 5th," says Paralympic Moldova.
