Serbian President visits Milorad Dodik in hospital
The President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, known for his pro-Russian views, was admitted to a hospital in Belgrade due to acute pain. According to the initial diagnosis, after necessary preparations, he will undergo surgery on his esophagus and stomach, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The Cabinet of the President of RS announced that Dodik was examined this afternoon in Belgrade, after which he was hospitalized.
"According to the initial diagnosis, after the necessary preparations, surgery will be performed on President Dodik’s esophagus and stomach. The public will be informed in due time about the health condition of the President of RS," the statement said.
Dodik was visited in the hospital by his friend, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, another pro-Moscow supporter and ally of Vladimir Putin.
