Romanian high school robotics teams achieved outstanding success at the 2025 FIRST Championship in Houston, USA, held from April 16 to 19. According to the Ministry of Education and Research, all participating Romanian teams placed in the top 10 of their divisions, competing against 256 teams from over 30 countries, CE Report quotes Agerpres

Highlights include the alliance of CSH Timișoara & Eastern Foxes Ploiești securing 3rd place globally, while TehnoZ Pitești & Alphatronic Cluj-Napoca ranked 1st and 2nd in their division and set a world record score. Heart of RoBots Buzău placed 6th in their division.

In total, four Romanian teams won division awards, with CSH Timișoara also earning a second-place award in another category.
