
Bolojan Urges Sustainable Resource Use
Acting President Ilie Bolojan marked Earth Day with a message highlighting Romania's rich natural resources and the urgent need for efficient, sustainable use. He emphasized that a clean environment is crucial for public health and long-term development, aligning with this year’s Earth Day theme: "Our Power, Our Planet."
Bolojan stressed that building a secure, sustainable energy system must be a global priority. He cited Romania’s progress, including a new Forestry Code, an improved packaging recycling program, and advances in green energy.
