Romania at Expo 2025 Osaka
Romania officially opened its national pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka on Sunday, showcasing a student-designed architectural concept and a multi-sensory, interactive experience. Located in the "Saving Lives" zone near the UK, Netherlands, and Poland pavilions, the 900-square-meter space promotes Romania’s innovation, culture, and sustainability, CE Report quotes Agerpres
The pavilion was inaugurated by Romanian officials including State Secretary Janina Sitaru, who highlighted the theme "Romania, Land of Tomorrow" and the country’s commitment to international cooperation for a better future. Romania will host over 2,000 live events, including five major artistic performances and a Multisectoral Economic Forum on June 26, attended by over 80 Romanian companies and Japanese stakeholders.
Part of a broader strategy to strengthen the Romania-Japan Strategic Partnership, the pavilion reflects the country's focus on economy, education, energy, and innovation. The opening featured a musical performance by students from the National University of Music in Bucharest.
