Romania

From April 13 to May 11, Romania's Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka will showcase "COOLsound on Tour," a concert series highlighting young Romanian musicians. This event, featuring students from the National University of Music in Bucharest, marks the beginning of Romania's cultural programming at the Expo, CE Report quotes Agerpres

The students, from bachelor’s to doctoral levels, will perform a diverse range of Romanian and international music, from classical and jazz to traditional folk. Notable performers include Mihnea-Ioan Stroe (piano), Ioan Banescu (classical guitar), Lucian Albu (flute), and Claudia Marinescu (soprano), among others. The Risoluto String Quartet and the Delta Trio will also take part, offering both classical and jazz repertoires.

This series offers a unique opportunity for the students to showcase Romania’s rich musical heritage to an international audience, establishing them as cultural ambassadors for their country.
