Organized by the Holy Synod Library, the exhibition, titled "National Unity and Ecclesiastical Dignity. The Elevation of the Romanian Orthodox Church to the Rank of Patriarchate," showcases archival documents, letters, photographs, and objects highlighting the church’s transformation since 1925.
Additionally, anniversary panels will mark 20 years since the founding of Lumina, Romania’s first Christian daily newspaper.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from Wednesday for a week, daily between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The centennial celebrations, taking place Monday and Tuesday, will also include events at the Patriarchal Cathedral, notably the solemn proclamation of the canonization of 16 Romanian holy confessors of the 20th century.
