Chisinau National Theatre Artists to Perform in Iasi for Romanian Principalities Union Day

Artists from the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theatre of Chisinau will visit Iasi to celebrate the 166th anniversary of the Union of the Romanian Principalities. The performances, part of the "Theatre ReUnions" project, mark the tenth edition of the Bucharest-Iasi-Chisinau Romanian Theatre Union Through Art Tour, CE Report quotes Agerpres

The Iasi National Theatre announced that two exceptional productions will grace the stage of the "Vasile Alecsandri" National Theatre's Grand Hall. On January 24 at 7:00 PM, the musical performance Chirita in Concert la Chisinau, inspired by Vasile Alecsandri and Matei Millo, will take the spotlight. The production, featuring music and text by Ada Milea and Anca Hanu, premiered on December 14, 2024.

On January 25 at 7:00 PM, Gradina de Sticla (The Glass Garden), based on the award-winning novel by Tatiana Tibuleac, will be performed. Directed by Petru Hadarca, this production premiered during the Romanian National Theatres Reunion in Chisinau in September 2024.

Both performances promise to highlight the rich cultural exchange and artistic excellence of Romanian theatre.
