"Our tricolor, a symbol of national rebirth, inspires us to move forward with dignity and hope," said Sandu, urging citizens to honor the flag every day, not just through symbolism, but by embodying its values in daily actions.

Adopted by the first parliament on April 27, 1990, the Tricolor became the official state flag. Flag Day was later established on April 23, 2010. The flag’s blue, yellow, and red colors symbolize freedom, prosperity, and the sacrifices made for the country’s independence.
