Moldova Moves Closer to EU Support Deal

Moldova’s parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration has approved a consultative opinion to start negotiations on a Facility Agreement with the European Union under the Reform and Growth Facility, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The agreement will outline cooperation principles between the EU and Chisinau, focusing on Moldova’s Reform Agenda. It aims to strengthen the rule of law, promote good governance, support the green and digital economy, and boost economic and social resilience in the country.

The EU will provide Moldova with €270 million in grants and €1.5 million in loans through the NDICI – Global Europe fund. Once finalized, the agreement will be submitted to parliament for ratification.
