France to unveil Srebrenica genocide memorial on 30th anniversary

The memorial to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide will be inaugurated in July at the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.

The event will take place during the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the genocide, CE Report quotes FENA.

Almost a year has passed since the United Nations (UN) adopted the Resolution on the Srebrenica Genocide.

The opening of the memorial in Paris has now been officially confirmed, according to the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIRN BiH).
