"Androulakis Blasts Gov’t on Easter Prices"

Main opposition leader Nikos Androulakis criticized the government during a visit to Varvakeios Market on Holy Wednesday, blaming it for failing to protect citizens from profiteering and producers from falsely labeled imports, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

He accused New Democracy of enabling lawlessness in the market and prioritizing special interests over public well-being. While the government claims the economy is strong and inflation issues are over, Androulakis pointed out that Greeks face the most expensive Easter meal ever, despite having the second-lowest purchasing power in the EU.

“Who will you believe? The propaganda or reality?” he asked.
