U.S. Congress Delegation Strengthens Ties with Romania

A U.S. Congressional delegation, led by Vern Buchanan and consisting of both Democrats and Republicans, is in Romania for meetings with Romanian senators and deputies at the Palace of Parliament. The delegation, accompanied by U.S. Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec, aims to enhance bilateral relations and discuss job creation and economic growth, CE Report quotes Agerpres

Buchanan emphasized the importance of increasing well-paid jobs and expanding U.S. companies in Romania, stating, "This country is important to us, and we want to work together." He expressed optimism about the future of U.S.-Romanian relations.

The U.S. representatives are also scheduled to meet with Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu. Local officials, including Senate Vice President Robert Cazanciuc and Liberal senator Daniel Fenechiu, highlighted the strong ties between Romania and the U.S.
