Poland, holding the rotating EU Council Presidency in the first half of 2025, reaffirmed its strong support for Moldova’s EU path and its commitment to providing development assistance. Discussions also addressed the impact of Russia's war in Ukraine, hybrid threats like disinformation, and efforts toward a peaceful resolution of the Transnistrian conflict.
The consultations also highlighted the positive trends in bilateral trade and reaffirmed the commitment to deepening economic and investment ties through upcoming meetings of the Moldovan-Polish intergovernmental commission.
