Trump Threatens 50% Tariffs on China

US President Donald Trump escalated the trade conflict with China, warning that if China does not reverse its 34% tariff increase by April 8, he will impose an additional 50% tariff. This follows China's retaliatory tariffs on US goods, raising tensions in the ongoing trade war. Trump also announced that all talks with China will be halted and negotiations with other countries will begin immediately.
