New MOU Between Athens and Imperial War Museums

On Friday, Greece's Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, attended the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Athens War Museum and the Imperial War Museum in London, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

The agreement, signed by Konstantinos Karamesinis, Chairman of the Athens War Museum, and Caro Howell, Director-General of the Imperial War Museum, aims to foster collaboration and exchange of knowledge between the two institutions.

Dendias highlighted the significance of this partnership in enhancing the appeal of Greek war museums, particularly among younger generations, under the Agenda 2030 reforms in the Greek Armed Forces. He noted that the Imperial War Museum's expertise will help present Greek military history in new, engaging ways.

The ceremony was attended by Greek Ambassador to the UK Ioannis Tsaousis and museum board members from both institutions.
