Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, on a working visit to the United States, met with U.S. Department of State officials to discuss expanding Moldova's diplomatic presence. Key discussions included addressing challenges in energy, cybersecurity, and the rule of law, while strengthening U.S.-Moldovan cooperation, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Popșoi met with several top officials, including Lisa Kenna, Chris Bergaus, and Laura Lochman, among others. He also participated in the inauguration of Moldova’s new Consulate General in Sacramento and the opening of a second consulate in Chicago.

Popșoi’s visit to the U.S. runs from March 29 to April 6.
