Zelensky: Pan-European agreement secures continued sanctions on Russia

In his evening video address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that this week has given an important pan-European agreement that sanctions against Russia should remain in force as long as the aggression and occupation continue.

This was stated in an evening video address published on the President's website, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

“This week has given Ukraine an important pan-European agreement that sanctions against Russia should remain in force as long as the aggression and occupation continue. There are new defense packages for Ukraine - the largest in a week from France, two billion euros. There are new decisions on investments in our defense industry, in particular in the production of Ukrainian drones. And our soldiers have good results in the use of certain types of drones to protect our cities,” Zelensky said.

He also said that communication with the United States is ongoing on how to act together to end this war.

“The world knows that only Russia is the reason - the reason why the war has been going on for so many years. We need to put pressure on Russia. And it is necessary to guarantee the security of those whom Russia has attacked - namely Ukrainians, all Europeans,” the President emphasized.
