
Erdogan Discusses Global Issues in Calls with World Leaders
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in phone calls with several world leaders on Sunday, addressing regional and global concerns and extending Eid greetings, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
Erdogan spoke with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reaffirming Turkey’s commitment to working with Algeria to halt Israeli attacks in Palestine and establish a ceasefire. He also emphasized enhancing bilateral relations through future visits and actions.
In separate conversations with Turkmenistan's Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Erdogan discussed issues ranging from regional tensions to advancing cooperation between Turkey and the respective nations.
During these calls, Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s continued support for Palestine amid the ongoing conflict and wished the leaders a blessed Eid.
