As promised, Moldova has inaugurated two new consulates in the United States, located in Chicago and Sacramento. President Maia Sandu celebrated the expansion, highlighting that these consulates will bring services closer to Moldovan citizens in the U.S, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

"Fewer trips, more care for people," said Sandu, emphasizing the government's commitment to extending the consular network for better accessibility to services.

The new consulates will offer a range of services, including passport issuance and renewal, notarial services, civil status documents, emergency assistance, and the promotion of Moldova's economic and cultural relations with the U.S.
