Recean Warns Against Divisive Tactics Amid Transnistria Tensions

Politics

Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean addressed growing concerns about the Transnistrian region, emphasizing the importance of unity and cautious decision-making. While discussing internal debates, he warned against falling into divisive tactics being used by external forces. He pointed out that while the country argues over minor issues, Russia continues to target Moldova economically, undermining local businesses and fueling separatism, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Recean stressed that Moldova’s duty is to make wise decisions in the face of a much greater threat. He urged all sectors of society, from the government to the media, to focus on unity rather than falling into divisive strategies aimed at weakening the nation. “We must not let Russia’s efforts divide us. I trust in our collective wisdom,” he concluded.
