Greece Mourns Losses in Myanmar and Thailand Earthquake

The Greek Foreign Ministry expressed deep sorrow on Friday following a powerful earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. In a post on X, the ministry extended condolences to the victims and their families, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

"Deeply saddened by the loss of life caused by the devastating earthquake that hit Myanmar and Thailand. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this disaster," the post read.

As of now, the earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.7, has resulted in at least 144 confirmed deaths and 732 injuries in Myanmar. In Thailand, 10 deaths, 16 injuries, and 101 people missing have been reported.
