Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi met with a NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation today to discuss strengthening Moldova's partnership with the North Atlantic Alliance. Popsoi emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in advancing shared democratic values and Moldova’s foreign policy priorities, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

He highlighted Moldova's commitment to meeting EU accession criteria by 2030 and the need for strong security guarantees in the region, especially amid Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine. The discussions also focused on enhancing Moldova's resilience and defense capabilities, tackling new security threats, and continuing political dialogue with NATO.

Popsoi reiterated Moldova's interest in NATO’s expertise and support for national security reforms, and the NATO delegation expressed full support for Moldova's European integration path.
