
Romanian Senate President Reaffirms Strong Ties with Moldova
Mircea Abrudean, the interim President of the Romanian Senate, visited Chisinau on Tuesday, reaffirming the "solid" partnership between Romania and Moldova. In a meeting with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Abrudean highlighted the strategic cooperation, mutual support, and shared goals in energy security, infrastructure, and economic development. Abrudean also held talks with Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Igor Grosu and has planned meetings with Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov. Additionally, a Romanian Senate Culture Committee delegation will visit Chisinau from March 26 to 29 to further strengthen bilateral relations.
