Moldova Strengthens Ties with Kazakhstan Under New Ambassador

Politics

Moldova is set to strengthen its relations with Kazakhstan under the leadership of newly appointed Ambassador Stefan Gorda. Approved by the government on March 13, Gorda aims to establish a new embassy, enhance political dialogue, and revitalize Moldova’s 20,000-strong diaspora in Kazakhstan, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

A seasoned diplomat, Gorda brings extensive international experience, having led projects in Kazakhstan, Africa, and the private sector. Confident in the embassy’s success, he emphasized his commitment to building diplomatic ties and fostering cooperation at the parliamentary level.

Gorda has previously held leadership roles at Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as ambassador to the Czech Republic, the Holy See, Bulgaria, Albania, and North Macedonia.
