Moldovan PM Praises Minister Dumitru Alaiba as He Announces Resignation

Prime Minister Dorin Recean has praised the work of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba, following his resignation announcement, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Recean highlighted Alaiba’s and his team’s significant efforts in ensuring economic stability, noting a recent milestone—Moldova’s first positive economic environment assessment since independence.

“Dumitru, thank you very much!” Recean said.

Alaiba, who held key positions since 2022, stated that a “new impetus” is needed to accelerate economic reforms. “It was the honor of my life to contribute. We move forward!” he wrote.
