
Romania's Interim President Pledges Strong EU Collaboration
Romania's interim President, Ilie Bolojan, reaffirmed the country's commitment to close cooperation with the European Parliament during a meeting with EP President Roberta Metsola on Thursday, CE Report quotes Agerpres
"Delighted to meet EP President Roberta Metsola ahead of the EU Council today. We are committed to continuing the excellent collaboration between Romania and the EP to respond directly and swiftly to our citizens' expectations," Bolojan stated in a social media post.
Bolojan participated in the European People's Party (EPP) summit earlier in the day before attending the Special European Council. During the event, he also held bilateral discussions with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
